EMSO Ligurian Sea - DYFAMED

DYFAMED, Dynamique des Flux Atmospheriques en MEDiterranee, comprises surface and deep sea mesurements. It is devoted to the observation of the water mass propertie evolution, of the carbon export changes and of the variability of the biological species relative to climate force in the passage between Eastern and Western Ligurian Sea.

Dyfamed was deployed in February 1988.

DYFAMED is supported by France as a contribution to EMSO. The site is open to new collaborations, connected instruments or autonomous sensors. The site contributes to MOOSE network.
