DYFAMED, Dynamique des Flux Atmospheriques en MEDiterranee, comprises surface and deep sea mesurements. It is devoted to the study of the evolution of the water mass properties, the carbon export change and the variability of the biological species relative to climate force in the passage between eastern and western Ligurian Sea.
Dyfamed was deployed in February 1988.
DYFAMED is supported by France as a contribution to EMSO. The site is part of the MOOSE network. The site is open to new collaborations, connected instruments or autonomous sensors.
