The BJS, Secondary Jonction Box, is the environmental science extension to the cabled neutrino telescope ANTARES. It is devoted to the study of the meso and sub meso scale hydrological features and of the hydrological events happening at the basin scale.
The BJS was deployed in November 2010.
The SJB observatory is supported by France as a contribution to EMSO. The site is part of the MOOSE network. The site is open to new collaborations, connected instruments for near real time data transmission or autonomous sensors.
